Customs, or Who's Asking? is a context-specific performance that explores the boundaries of privacy and value. Through customs checkpoints and audience compliance this piece wonders where the symbolic site of what is "customary" lies. The work was conceived for a specific group context, mutating with each iteration. In the context of The Unreliable Narrator at Eye Filmmuseum, it served as a step into the polyphony of past selves around which the programme was centred.

Performance conceived as part of the programme The Unreliable Narrator, with contributions by Yaima Carrazana, Kelvin Dijk, and Anna Theunissen.
